Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Barnstorm, operated by Black Airplane ("we"). If your organization has a signed agreement with us, that agreement controls where it differs from these terms.

Using Barnstorm

You may use Barnstorm if your organization has invited you. Keep your sign-in account secure, and use Barnstorm only for your organization's own accounts and only as the law and each network's terms allow.

Connecting accounts

Connect an account only if you're authorized to act for it. When you connect one, you approve the people your organization has invited to Barnstorm seeing its data. You can disconnect it at any time.

Connecting a YouTube channel also means agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service. Each network's own terms continue to apply to your use of that network.

What you can't do

  • Try to reach another organization's data, or get around access controls.
  • Copy, resell or redistribute Barnstorm or the data it shows, except as your agreement with us allows.
  • Reverse engineer the service, or overload it.

Your data

Your organization keeps its rights in its data. You give us permission to process it to run Barnstorm, as the privacy policy describes.

Our service

We own Barnstorm, including its software and design. Networks decide what data they make available and can change that without notice, so the numbers and features we can offer may change too.

Estimates

Sentiment, themes, summaries, scores and suggested tour-stop matches are estimates that Barnstorm produces. They aren't from the networks and can be wrong, so check anything important before relying on it.

Disclaimers and liability

Barnstorm is provided as is, without warranties beyond those your agreement with us states. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what your organization paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending your use

Your organization can remove you, and we can suspend access that puts the service or others at risk. When an organization's agreement ends, we delete its data as the agreement and the privacy policy describe.

Changes and contact

We'll post changes here and tell organizations about significant ones. Questions go to your organization's Barnstorm contact.
